About the Artist

When I was fourteen I was heavily burdened by the fear of the unknown, having no clue what my purpose and talents were. I had recently tried video production and acting for the first time, but it didn't feel like enough for that missing puzzle piece to be filled. But then I had read that at the time, only five women had been nominated for Best Director in the Oscars, with only resulting in one win (now two thanks to Chole Zhao). Something stirred in me that day. I figured hey, I can tell stories, create worlds, this sounds like a fit. My sophomore year of high school I gained the balls to pick up a camera and devote myself to the craft, while learning I had quite the talent for photography as well. Ever since then it's been non stop.

I never start a project without including my unique and bold personality into it. I take constant inspiration from the world around me, whether it's people, places, or music. I religiously blare New Wave and soundtracks on my headphones as a constant source of inspiration. (Not that you're asking, but Blue Monday and Cornfield Chase are the best songs ever made try and change my mind).

I am a fierce advocate for women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial rights, just to name a few. The topics are something I also love to work with, which may surprise many people due to my faith in Jesus.

But hey, I love to throw people off their feet.
